Posted By: leon
Hey guys and girls,
When it gets to about 50 posts we need to make another thread, imo. Sorry for doing it now but the last few days of pickups "posts" are more than welcome to post here again....it has to start somewhere . This goes to show I will collect anything resembling baseball.....

"

Posted By: jorge
i won this printing plate and at $15 i still thought it was a nice piece to pick up regardless of its history and authenticity. Does anyone know what this team might be and from what year? Below is the copy which was included in the description of the auction. Thanks.

METAL PRINTING PLATE.

IT'S A PRINT OF A BASEBALL TEAM.

I wish i could be for sure which baseball team.

The team has the letter Y on their jersey's.

The only info. i can give about this plate is that on the back it says 1910 or 1916(the last # is partially worn off)

The word Marquettes is also on the back

Posted By: steve f
2nd post... Close examination and research and after buying a couple of counterfeits FJ's, I realized these weren't fakes. But these were rejected by SGC and PSA, I gave up and posted these unslabbed. Advised by a board member to submit to BVG -items removed, happy ending. Appreciate the advice Paul (sportscardexaminer), you saved us from dumping a pair of beauts.

Posted By: jay behrens
some of you may want to reduce your scans. I have a very fast connection, but others don't have that luxury and in a thread with so many scans, smaller is much better. I believe Leon asked that scan be kept to the size of the card or smaller. When the thread starts nearing 50, even with my conneection, it takes a while to load the thrad

Jay

I've just reached Upper Lower Class. Posted By: leon
Yes, folks....please keep your scan sizes to a minimum....the smaller the better and if any are more than 1x I might delete them and ask them to be redone. I have redone a few today but sometimes I actually have to work....

Posted By: Zach Rice
Thanks Quann, I was wondering if any M116 experts can help me with how tough Moore compares with others in the set in terms of rarity. In about a years worth of searching I have seen three M116 Moores, two on ebay and the other which was sold to my in an off ebay sale. I never knew he was such a toughie.
