Posted By: leon
Slow day at the office? These are fine...as a valued everyday participant you are entitled to a few O/T's per the board rules (FAQ'S). I will state it again though.....If I don't see your name on threads and posts quite a bit then you shouldn't be doing any off topic threads. The other moderators, and my feelings, are that this promotes a little bit of "family attitude", which it's meant to do. Heck, I have had some strange ass questions and they get answered here very quickly. You must be a participant to ask OT stuff though....best regards....btw, those two teenagers with long hair remind me of me

Posted By: Dan Lundrigan
You should put Clemente and Doc Ellis side by side so Clemente is looking at Ellis`s hat in disgust. His girlfriend must have knitted it for him, kind of reminds me of Seinfeld and the puffy shirt!

Cool photos by the way!

Posted By: Jeff Lichtman
Dan, I actually think those photos are infinitely more interesting than half the stuff that gets posted here - certainly much more interesting than the latest PSA overgrade alert, the newest fake Wagner on ebay or a 100 post discussion on whether we should all assume that our T206s have been soaked and stretched. Keep 'em coming!

Posted By: Daniel Bretta
Thanks! I have tons more photos like this, but I don't want this forum to get away from what it's really about and that's prewar baseball cards...I was bored and I thought a nice diversion would be a nostalgic look back on a day at Wrigley...which I'll bet a lot of folks in this chatroom can relate to.

Posted By: howard
Wow...if you ever needed proof that Dock was dropping acid during his playing days, that hat is it!

Posted By: Bruce Babcock
Great thread. I have memories of being at the LA Coliseum watching the Dodgers in about 1961, and later at Dodger Stadium, but no photos.
