Posted By: Joe Jones
I am not knowlegeable at T205's and was wondering If this back is common in black ink. I happened to pick one up at a show last weekend. Usually the American Beauty backs I see are green. Any help would be appreciated.

I just know the basics.

Posted By: J Levine
Okay... Here is a quick answer to your question. In my experience (which is pretty extensive in dealing with T205 backs) the Green and Black American Beauty backs are about the same in scarcity. Over the past year, I have seen more green backs sold but in the last 7 years, the numbers of each back seen are virtually the same.

Broadleaf comes in brown and black. American Beauty comes in green and black. Sweet Caporal comes in red and black.

Sovereign does not really come in two colors. It is just that the printing ink faded. You can see the same fading in the American Beauty greens. Some are very bright, some are dull, almost a khaki color.

Joshua
