Posted By: tbob
Great magazine with an added twist this issue, 3-D photos with accompanying glasses. You haven't lived until you have seen Ruth and Gehrig in 3-D. The picture of Joe E. Brown pointing is classic.

Posted By: Joann
Isn't it cool? I always like anything 3D with the glasses, and some of the old bb pics are really neat to see. I thought the finger pointing was good too. Most of the others had a distinct layer look but that one made the arm seem more continuous all the way out to the end of the finger.

Joann

Posted By: Brett Hardeman
The 3D article has been great from concept to print. We hope it is received well. Thanks to Mile High for the red/blue glasses sponsorship, especially since he had no idea what he was sponsoring.

Have a unique article idea for Old Cardboard Magazine? If so, send an email to editor@oldcardboard.com -- we'd love to hear from you.

Magazine distribution is over the next few days. If you didn't receive it yesterday then it will be there today or tomorrow. International copies will arrive next week.

Best Regards,
Brett Hardeman
OC Business Manager
brett@oldcardboard.com
512-466-5372

There is a great site with photos, etc. of the Keystone sports stuff:

http://photo.ucr.edu/projects/sports/

It is a collection held by the University of California in Riverside and has quite a few Keystone stereoviews of athletes in it.

Posted By: leon
Has anyone in Texas got theirs yet? I live just up the road from Austin in Allen (near Dallas), where they are shipped from, and last time it took about 3-4 weeks, going 1st class. I talked to Brett (hi Brett) yesterday and we laughed about it. I think this area's post office might have some issues.....Anyone in N.Texas, or Texas at large, get theirs? ..I am looking forward to reading it...maybe today...thanks all.

Posted By: Holstein
Not only is Old Cardboard a great magazine, but Brett does a great job reaching out to customers.

I received the last issue but the 3-D glasses were not included. I mentioned that in a post on the Board, but did not reach out to Old Cardboard directly. Well, I just received 3-D glasses and a note from Brett.

I was not going to bother requesting the glasses, as I barely have time to visit Network 54, let alone contact magazines. So, I greatly appreciate Brett reading the posts and sending the glasses. Thanks Brett. I just Paypal'd my renewal fees.

Paul
