Posted By: bigfish
Gil,

that is some kind of trivia card. I saw one a few weeks ago for a similiar price. I do not think it is an actual baseball card. Looks like something from a game that happens to have babe ruth in the questions or answer

Posted By: identify7
Well Bigfish, it looks like the hobby agrees with you. The hammer price on this item was $47.; which is less than the libertyforall cutouts often go for.

I thought that a GAI holder inferred something more than it does, and I also thought that this item meets some criteria for classification as a baseball card.

Thanks for having the moxie to state your opinion.

What I have learned here includes that GAI, and perhaps others, will encapsulate (apparently anything) as authentic if the item appears to have been manufactured in the year stated. I hope they require evidence of manufacturers identity. Otherwise, libertyforall type cutouts are fair game for GAI Authentication.
