I did a search on baseballlibrary.com for "S. Gray" and I found that there was a Sam Gray who played for the Browns from 1927-1933 so I would assume that this card was issued during that time.<br /><br />One interesting observation about the card. If you cut that coupon off the card, you would be basically hacking off a large portion of the card itself including most of the caption (not like a Zeenut which simply has the tab at the bottom).
