He then sent me an email last night and this is what he had to tell me!<br /><br /> My great great grandfather was Secretary & General Manger of the Washington ballclub from 1917 until his death in 1956 - so I've started collecting Senators stuff, particularly from that period. Got a few WJ items - some vintage cards, an autograph, and have some great Johnson photos from a family album. Awlful story to share - my Dad had passed down to him three albums full of WJ stuff - all his baseball cards, personal correspondance, player contracts, signatures - gave it to a gentleman in Washington who claimed to be doing research on Johnson - stuff was never returned - today what was in those albums would be worth a mint, I'm sure. <br /><br /> Pretty Amazing!
