The statement that "only four of each player exists" is not accurate. For some players like Ruth, there are considerably more examples while for others like Cobb, there are less.

Which has their bio's on the back. The rare 1926 Spaldings are the last two types, the Ad back and the Blank back. The blank back are blank on the reverse and the Ad back has a coupon offer. Both of the latter cards are extremly rare. Some of these cards have a population of 4 or less. It is a shame that these cards are not more popular. I collect the Blank back and Ad backs types. There are cards that have a print date of 1927 but I believe that only Babe Ruth cards have been found but I could be wrong.
