Posted By: andy becker
i went into ebay today....and it did not accept my password (which i have had for years, since my joining).
i had to change my password. this was not an email, so i don't think my account has been compromised.
esnipe worked fine last night. this morning i couldn't request a total from a seller.
very strange. has this ever happened to anyone else?
Posted By: leon
I don't know but ebay was doing weird things for me last night too. Not password related but wouldn't take my bid and update, repeatedly...and Auctionsniper was having major issues and I couldn't use it at all....must have been a full moon or something....regards

Posted By: Scott Gross
From the selling side: Yesterday I was putting some cards up for auction and had a lot'o funny page jumps, errors, etc. But finally did get them up. Hey, for the volume ebay does (believe it or not there are catagories other than pre-1930 bb cards ), online problems are few and far between.

As far changing passwords, as long as you did it thru ebay site, I'd say your fine. At least you remembered to change your esnipe password. When I changed my ebay password, I forgot to change my esnipe to correspond. Then I wondered why my snipes didn't go thru for 2 or 3 auctions (of which I would have won, of course -- d'oh) !!!

Posted By: davidcycleback
There are times when eBay is doing maintenance, often late night, and their site isn't in total working order. For example, the site looks normal at first glance, but the search function doesn't work or you can't open up an individual auction. Perhaps you entered your password/username during one of these down times, making it appear your password was goofy when it was just the site acting up.

Posted By: Cobby33
It's all screwed up. I'm trying to list a bunch of stuff (including a PSA 7 (OC) Beck and Tinker Brown Hindu--sorry for the shameless plug) and my usual preferences are gone. It's also giving me a lot of error messages.
