Posted By: <b>JimB</b><p>Generally, I tend to like the action poses more. I usually find them to be more interesting. With Mathewson, I have a hard time deciding. His portrait is probably my favorite portrait in the entire set. But the two pitching poses are classics as well. I think a lot of people prefer the portraits. To each their own.<br />JimB

There is no other card in the set<br />that has the picture clarity that this one has. Besides he<br />is my all-time favorite pitcher; so, I guess I am biased.

The gentlemanly, educated Matty somehow shines through the poses<br />and portrait similar to what Barry says about the angelic Johnson.<br /><br />I do love the Johnson portrait as well as Ed Walsh.<br /><br />Still, Matty's the Man.<br /><br />Barry
