Posted By: tbob
I hate it when you're leading going in to overtime on these cards and wake up only to find almost everything gone
The OJs I had all disappeared, bridesmaid on several. There's no friendly "you've been outbid" emails after the 15 Minute Rule starts.
Oh well, I managed one win at a very good price and managed to save some money up for caramel cards instead...

Posted By: warshawlaw
Bob, I have never seen anyone with seemingly worse luck than you. Do me a favor: don't fly on my plane, ride in my elevator, stand next to me outdoors, etc. And never go near a trailer park. In fact, don't come to SoCal for the National in 2006; we can't afford the earthquake.

Posted By: tbob
LOL. Thanks Adam, sometimes I feel like the guy in the Lil' Abner comic strip (Joe Bflptsk or something like that) who goes through life with a black cloud over his head.

Posted By: Don J
Did anyone actually win anything? I only received 1 outbid notice on the 3 or 4 things I bid on but I haven't received an invoice and can't check the site due to the way the software is set up.

Posted By: Brian H (misunderestimated)
Go to my winning or high bids and make sure you check completed auction...
I won 2 -- OJ Germany (Herman) Long (a great should/could be HOF player) and the Mayo boxing card (C 1890) of Jewish Heavyweight HOF boxer Joe Chonskia(SP), one of the only men to ever defeat Jack Johnson...

Posted By: tbob
Tim- Hardy, har, har Tim. Be glad you are my friend or I'd send you a blistering email.

Can someone please explain the $2443 plus the juice bid on the E90-1 McLean card to me. It's a slabbed VG card. Am I missing something here???? I have never known this card to be rare. I have an exmt one in my set. It wasn't the easiest card to find in the set but much easier than Walsh, Speaker, horiz. Joss, throwing Keeler, Donlin, red Keeler, Sweeney or Graham.
