Posted By: Anson
At least this isn't another reprint thread. But, it's a shame that Ebay has become a means for folks of questionable ethics to pull this kind of crap. The card is legit, but the seller is eluding to it being a heck of a lot more than it is.

http://cgi.ebay.com/HONUS-WAGNER-BASEBALL-CARD-RARER-1909-T-T206-GAI-7-1-1_W0QQitemZ8711349942QQcategoryZ86840QQrdZ1QQcmdZV iewItem

Sorry if this is too o/t Leon, but it rubbed me the wrong way.

Posted By: joe
For such an "important" card you'd think he would take the time to photograph it on something other than the steering wheel of his car. And is that an ID of some knid on the floor? To hell with that T206, I think McNall and Gretsky missed the boat on this card.

Posted By: davidcycleback
This seller auctions autographed items. It appears the autographs are genuine, and they are some nice items. However, each auction he has this incredible auction estimate-- like 20x higher than MastroNet would get on a good day. I could understand this for his first one or two autograph auctions, but after the 20th ball it's gotten lame. Obviously, he knows his estimates are goofy, and most everyone else knows their goofy-- so I don't know why he continues.

But the stuff itself seems legitimate, and that's half the battle.
