Posted By: Robert
Since the auction for the Nagy Wagner is going to start soon I thought we can start a poll and find out how much the card is going to be sold.

I predict $350,000 with the juice

Posted By: Hal Lewis
The only thing I can find seems to indicate that the Nagy Wagner will be up for bid in the DECEMBER auction from Mastro, NOT the upcoming October auction.

My guess for the price:

$500,000

Posted By: leonl
given that one didn't sell not too long ago, in almost similar condition, I will say $377,000.55 (including buyers premium).....btw, what will shipping/insurance $$ be on this? (just kiddin', anyone shelling out this much will go get it in person, most likely)

Posted By: Judge Dred (Fred)
Pete,

IMO I don't think any money will be left on the table because it's in a GAI holder. People will judge it for themselves and everyone will pretty much be buying the card and not the holder (you would hope).

Hal, Leon and all - game on. Lets start a "price is right" pool. $5 entry fee for everyone that wants to put in a guess. Enter as many times as you wish (at $5 per guess). The person that comes closest to the winning dollar amount (including juice) without going over is the winner. Brian or Leon could post the guesses and after the auction is over the winner collects and the rest of us can sit back and wait for the authorities to contact us for illegal interstate gambling.... ok, it was a good idea at first until I started thinking about it...

Posted By: Robert
If we are doing a pool at $5.00 a guess I want to know if Hal is bidding to try and upgrade his because he can throw the whole thing off and give himself an unfair advantage in winning our pool.
