Posted By: Ed McCollum
First off, congratulations to Hal on the acquisition of the Wagner. I was lucky enough to get to hold one at the National in St. Louis (93?) when Jim from SportsCards Plus pulled the one they had on display to let me look at. At the time, they were asking twice the value of our house in Lincoln for the card. Whew!

But in the "Well..." thread, it is mentioned that Hal might have a t206 red Cobb with Cobb back. If so, could you, or anyone who has one, scan and post? I haven't really been in the hobby that much the past six years or so, but before that, I was able to get at least one of each of the other 15 brand backs in some form or another. But I've never even seen a color copy of a Cobb back. And if you have one, where did you get it? I remember a "find" of five or six in someones grandfathers book collection that all went for sale in a Ron Oser auction (?) about ten years ago. That about doubled the known population of these cards, didn't it? I would just like to see a color version of one.

Thanks.

Ed
