Posted By: BlackSoxFan
What do you guys think is the best digital way to view your collection? The reason i ask is b/c i have to design a layout for my own website but i think this could be in ref. to a larger situation.

For my black sox collection, i'm doing thumbnails that will eventually lead to a new window view with a border and nav buttons to view other cards....
but for a large collection of cards (like my w514's) which will be 120+ cards in its completion ... i don't think that is feasible. Here are the options:

a) List the cards by Name/Number leading to a popup with nav buttons (probably my choice)
b) One big scan of all the cards
c) multiple html pages showing several cards each.

Just a question of curiosity...i also have seen sights like image shack and they have a nice presentation, i could borrow from that completely, but i like designing my own page. Also, i'm picky...

Regards,
Black Sox Fan

- - - - - - - - -

I'm Smart Enough To Know, There Are A Lot Of People Who Know More Than I Know

BlackSoxFan.com
email me

Posted By: BlackSoxFan
Yes it does, but i can't run my fingers through your cards or visa versa, so for you guys it's the best i can do! Plus i store my cards at another location most of the time, so it gives me some satisfaction as well!

Ted

Regards,
Black Sox Fan

- - - - - - - - -

I'm Smart Enough To Know, There Are A Lot Of People Who Know More Than I Know

BlackSoxFan.com
email me
