Posted By: Brian McQueen
I know we've guessed at this before but I'm very interested in trying to get a "headcount" of sorts for the total number of Type 2s in existance. Aside from Scott B's collection, Hal's and my own, I'd like to know what cards exist others might have or be aware of in the collections of both Board members and private collections outside these walls (if possible).

Please respond to this thread or Email me privately with any information you might have on the whereabouts of any of the seven players in this "subset": Delehanty, Doyle, Keeler, Lajoie, Leach, Seybold and Tenney.

For reference, I have a few on my site that you can take a look at to view what differences exist between these and Type 1s:
http://www.geocities.com/redmaccie/e107.html

In most cases, the cards have very narrow borders, if any at all, consist of a thicker, greyish stock and have blank, greyish colored backs. As you can see by the scans of the Type 2s I have compared to their Type 1 counterparts above, the cards just have a dark, "greyish" look to them in general that is different from the beaming white background and overtones of the Type 1s.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide,
Brian
redmaccie@hotmail.com
