Posted By: Mike P.
Maybe the resident Topps T206 buyback expert Joan can help me out here. I am checking out ebay and ran across a T207 in a T206 Topps buyback holder. I am curious to know the following:
1)Did Topps purposely incorporate T207 cards with T206s knowing they were different than T206s?
2)Did Topps purposely incorporate T207 cards thinking they were T206s?
3)Did Topps unintentionally include them, thus these are "rare" mistakes?
4)Is the seller selling a T207 card he managed to put inside a T206 holder?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=5235108393

Posted By: Judge Dred (Fred)
They inserted T205, T206 and T207 cards in the Topps 206 holders. I thought it was intentional because they did have more than qualified advisors guiding them. I can't wait to see a Topps "N" series of cards but I doubt that will happen because any "N" series of player cards are tough to find. The next logical progression would be "E" cards. The only problem is the "E" cards are the same as the "N" series, they're just not as plentiful as T cards. Could you imagine pulling an E107 Wagner from a modern Topps pack... hell, I'd probably go into cardiac arrest...
