Posted By: BlackSoxFanTo be more specific..you put the - sign infront of whatever you want ebay to throw out.... if you want it to remove exact phrases... use the - sign followed by quotes around whatever it is you want out. Posted By: RC McKenzieAbout 6 years ago I sent a T213 Coupon Cobb to psa. It came back a 3, which was about right, but it came back in a T206 Cobb Holder. I listed it on ebay as a T213 Coupon Cobb PSA 3 error and the card did not sell at $299. No bids I relisted it the next day as a PSA 3 T206 Cobb tougher back and it sold for arounf $500.

I don't know enough specifics to comment on to what degree you were out of line...but you were out of line ... even if you went to great lengths to describe the reality of the situation in the auction description ... you should be ashammed for doing that. There are so many new collectors coming into the hobby that some might realize that a T206 Cobb Coupon is worth more than a common back. It's a nomenclature issue that you brought up. As usual, I'm the bad guy. Hate the game.

I once heard a fellow attorney explain the concept of "conflict of interest" this way, "if you can't explain to your client in one sentence why it is ok that you did what you did, then you probably shouldn't have done it." You can't sell a card as one thing when you know it's something else.
