Posted By: Julie
....won lot 49. Paid too much, but I also paid too much in coin and cards for the N43 of Ewing with back AND front damage!

(I'm sure you've all seen the big stain on the right side of the back--also tiny spots of paper loss or extra paper...)

Posted By: pete
"YOU" think its too much...i've overpaid for a few items that i really wanted and it doesnt bother me....the only thing i wont do is overpay for an item i intend on re-selling in the near future...if you're happy, thats all that matters.
pete-

Posted By: Anonymous
Thanks for the compliments on the Coupon Cobbs. It's just something about the T206 Red portrait Cobb that drew me to these. Hal has a nicer one though If I recall, I think his is a SGC 60.

Brian

Posted By: Julie
Old Judge commons were supposed to be in great demand--but 19th centeryonly's went cheap. The orange background Coupon Cobb is gorgeous--I didn't know Coupon Cobbs came with orange backgrounds (why shouldn't they?)

Of course I'm happy with my N29 Ewing. But so often when I start chortling about something I've won, you guys say "Boy, did you get taken!"

Posted By: tbob
I was underbidder on 3 caramels but won a couple of OJs.
I don't even collect anything before 1900 but I may have to start. These are two cards with eye appeal (at least to me).

Posted By: Scott Elkins
The Croft's Cocoa Dougherty and the E75 Corbett.

BTW - If the person who won the Croft's Cocoa O'Hara is reading.........I have several extra Croft's Cocoa cards in BETTER condition I would trade one for the O'Hara b/c I need it for my set! All of mine are graded by SGC, PSA or GAI. I even have a nice GAI 2.5 Miller Fielding that is extra I would trade for the O'Hara (and that is one of the more expensive "common" cards in the set!!!!!!).
