Posted By: <b>Anson</b><p>I've seen a lot of recent auctions for GAI authenticated unopened packages of tobacco with "potentially" a T206 card waiting inside. I believe there is a Piedmont pack currently on as I write this.<br /><br />I'm wondering if anyone has found unopened caramel or candy packages floating around, as I've never seen one (and may not ever). Everyone talks about the dream of stumbling upon a case of old tobacco. Would the chances be better coming across that batch of caramels?<br /><br /><br />edited for screwing up the title

Posted By: <b>Richard</b><p>I think tobacco ages better than caramel. Finding unopened caramel would be next to impossible due to the simple fact that it is a food product.

Posted By: <b>davidcycleback</b><p>Good point. Richard. Tobacco stores well. It's like keeping a box of easter egg hay. It wouldn't be a good idea for a warehouse or store to keep caramel for years. In fact, it might be illegal for health (and rat) reasons. And don't even ask about finding an unopened box of Tango eggs.
