Posted By: Bryan Long
I am looking to buy reproductions of black and white or color high quality 8x10 or smaller pictures of HOFers like wagner, mathewson, cobb, ruth etc. Does anyone know of a website where you can buy lots or even cheap singles besides ebay? I just don't want to pay $50 a picture and my printer does not do justice.
Thanks

They then send you good quality photo reproductions on photo paper.

Black & White 8 x 10s are $20.00 (less 10 percent for Friends of the Hall of Fame members).

I have ordered more than 40 images from them and have always had great results.

Check out the website www.baseballhalloffame.org There is a link to the research library and information on their photo services, along with a photocopy request form.

Highly recommended!

They had to make a negative from a print, and then print that,--they didn't have a negative--because nobody ever asked them for a picture of Lefty Williams before. HOF, commons, you name it.
I have a Conlon, too, but I like the first one better. I chopped him off at the knees, but he's full length. Oh--on the back of the photocopy (that you choose from), there's all the informastion that was on the back of the original picture!
This is Conlon's--I don't like it as well:

I used to have all the Gehrig photos including shots of him in his Columbia uniform. Those were all sold Curt Schilling. Lee has most of the remaing pictures I had left over from when I sold off my collection. The person I bought the pictures thru had a xerox list of all the photos and it took over 400 pages to list everything up to 1965.

Jay

I like to sit outside drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home I would be arrested, so I go to baseball games and fit right in.

It used to be that you send names of players to the Baseball HOF & they mail you back the photocopies for free & then if you wanted an actual photo, you send them the photocopy back. However, I believe they recently have stopped sending the photocopies for free, not sure though...

Also, try http://www.bracephoto.com

Good Luck.
Alan
