Posted By: Jeff
Edited to say sorry.

Only reason I thought this wouldn't stay here long is because I have seen non vintage threads removed very fast before.

Being that I am not a frequent poster on here and more of a lurker having fun with reading about all that everyone has to say, it looks like I stuck my foot in my mouth on this one.

Once again I am sorry.

Jeff

Posted By: rich
Hi,
I am a teacher and would gladly distribute them to my students. I know that they would love them. They think I am nuts for collecting but still always bring me in their "vintage" cards from the year 1988.......lol
Rich

Posted By: David Vargha
I gave over 75,000 such cards away last year. I tried children's hospitals in the LA area, but they didn't want them. The Salvation Army picked them up at my house and gave me a tax receipt as well.

DavidVargha@hotmail.com

Posted By: Elliot
I can't believe that anybody would think that Leon would delete this thread. Does anybody really think the rules are so hard and fast that you have to be afraid to post something that doesn't mention pre-wwII baseball cards.
A great gesture by Alan, who is a nice guy, except when he's outbidding me on cards. I hope his wife is spending lots of $$ on the renovation.
Also, i think Richard Dwyer who has been a regular poster here on tobacco packs would have an interest in these cards for his students.

Posted By: Jason Duncan
I have a great charity that I donate some memorabilia every year.
Camp quality NW Missouri is a camp set up for children with cancer. They do 2 auctions per year as a fundraiser to raise funds to send these kids to camp. Every year they try to send each kid to camp through the summer without cost to them or their families. I personally love this charity because 100% of all funds go directyl to the kids. This is set up voluntarily and that appealed to me. If you would be interested ins ending those to Camp Quality NW Missouri here is the information. I am sure they would appreciate it. Of course your donation is tax deducatable.

Ron Gray director 816-232-2267

Camp Quality NW Missouri
PO Box 19
Union Star, MO 64494

thanks
Jason
816-294-9847
