Anyone else see what I see or is it just me? In looking at the scan on this end, it appears to me that the M in the Ex - Mt isnt the same font type and the 6 looks odd to me as well. That card doesnt look right to me and I know I am new to t206. Anyone care to shed light on this?

Posted By: vetekbob
Don, that was my point indeed even though I didnt state it clearly but glad to see I am not the only one that wondered that lol Maybe someone could help me out on this but if he did actually own the card or was even selling it for someone he personally knew, whats the point in hiding the numbers on the card? I dont get that. I still question the weirdness of the labeling on the card.

Posted By: vetekbob
I bet if someone ask him for another scan with him holding the card in his hand with a dig camera date stamp on the scan or just using a scanner, he wont be able to and will come up with some lame excuse. Whenever I have had doubts such as that I have asked a seller to do such. Granted its not 100% fool-proof but it can help to gaurd against those that like to steal pics from others.

Posted By: barrysloate
The fact is the seller is hiding something that under normal circumstances does not need to be hidden. By definition, he's up to something no good. Stay away from that card.

Posted By: vetekbob
Maybe I am just too finicky when it comes to seeing a listing like this but I sure wouldnt black out the numbers if I was trying to make a sale. The low feedback doesnt really bother me as we all had low feedback at one time on Ebay and some people do go a long time without buying or selling anything. If he could provide a scan of the front and back with todays newspaper or something else that shows the shot was taken today and in his actual control (holding it), it would make me feel better if I were bidding. I just emailed him and asked him for such a scan and will see if he answers back. In looking at other items he has sold, he didnt seemed to be concerned about security issues or someone doing something with the pic in the listing he had up. Just too evasive for my taste as the listing shows now. It is a really nice card and I just dont get his logic on this.

Posted By: Judge Dred
IF this is a legit auction the card will probably be a bargain. Don't you get the feeling that if there is minimal bidding we will see a few low/no feedback bidders jacking up the price?

Posted By: vetekbob
I emailed the seller yesterday afternoon asking for scans of the front and back and also asked to have something in the picture to show it was taken that very day and still havent heard back yet. I doubt I will.
