Posted By: Mark Tylicki
Can someone on the board please provide me with a scan of this card? I'm curious if it will match up with the portrait theme of my HOF collection - I'm guessing yes.

My knowledge of the V117s is limited to the set description in the SCD.

base2base - You mentioned you have a set. Any information you've gathered about them would be great to hear. Anyone else?

Here are a few pics...

Jim Bottomley RC
Ed Roush
Ray Schalk
Joe Sewell

Thank you kindly - I enjoy this set.
Posted By: Gilbert Maines
I understand that you are assembling a portrait HOF set. I need a Crispette Bottomley for a grouping which I am assembling. I am wondering if there is a HOF portrait (Bottomley or other)which I could offer to you in exchange for the Bottomley card?

I have been having difficulty locating a Crispette of Sunny Jim. Would you consider an offer of cash?

In my experience, he's one of the rarest players in the issue.

Gilbert,

I've been hunting for the Bottomley too..have'nt had any success yet, although I've let several evade my grasp over the years. Best of luck tracking one down..and PLEASE let me know if you find two! ; )

E.

Posted By: Paul
Hal, I've told you that you can have my Bottomley for a McPhee. For some reason, you never contacted me. Sure, it may sound ridiculous. But someday, you'll come crawling ...
