Posted By: Dave Yoken
Hi everyone,

Would anyone know anything about these two Goodwin & Co. cards? (The black background is from the linen they were placed on.) I can't seem to find listings anywhere. Any idea how much they might be worth?

Here is what I know so far:

They were issued in 1888 by Goodwin & Co. on an uncut sheet. There are either 30 plus or 20 plus in the set, possibly the latter. Two players, Anson and Kelly were oval, the rest were like these two. Apparently the purpose of this Goodwin issue was some sort of game, and I've been told there is a reprint of the uncut sheet at the Hall of Fame.

Any help would be appreciated!

Dave
