Posted By: John
A thought has crossed my mind with all the out poor of good will towards Ben for his very unfortunate situation, which is just appalling to say the least. Because of these recent events maybe we have overlooked another individual who could use a little good will too. Bill has done a great job overlooking this forum over the past year or two. He also has taken his fair share of lumps. With the new change in leadership here (Congrats Leon) maybe we all can send Bill off with a little something from all of us. So you be the judge a spare card or cards or just maybe a simple Paypal bonus sent his way. If I remember correctly he is hard a work on the T207’s I’m sure if we all show a little thanks maybe he can nail down some cards he is looking for.

Just a thought toss it around.
Posted By: Bottom of the Ninth
Bill deserves something nice. While we are at it, someone should start a collection fund for our poor friends Brian and Leon. Does Leon need anything? And no I will not part with the funky blue Wagner card!!!!

(leave them $$$, or convert them into card)

BOTN...er, never mind...

This is the only card I own that Leon has ever shown, or, I'm sure, felt, the slightest interest in...

Posted By: Julie
Hi, BCD. Please be a referee; I really don't want to fight with Greg...

Hey, Leon got to that one REAL quick---good job, Leon.
But--what do you give to a guy who has everything?

Posted By: Bottom of the Ninth

I was not offering charity to Leon. If I could write in code, like you do, you may have understood that I was saying we should start to take a collection for our appreciation for the beating that Leon and Brian are going to take moderating the board.

Do me a favor and please ignore anything that I post. I have been doing that with your posts for a while now.

Posted By: Brian Daniels
Julie, send me a N184 or N165 I need and I will pound Greg to a pulp......................and then pound the pulp! Just for you!....and a card of course! By the way, Bill was singing "born too late" after seeing you at the Moscone center a few weeks back!

Posted By: Julie
I thought APPRECIATION cam,e AFTER the job (then, even I'd want to give Leon something). Yes: I suggested John Wonkaticket might want to be a conduit for funds for Bill, and then later, we could decide whether to convert the cash into a card. he hasn't got his e-mail there, though.

Code?

Joke: no, not with BCD around...he's probably not too big on Derek Jacobi.

Greg: if you were ignoring my posts, you wouldn't have started the fight! No?

Posted By: John
I’ll be happy to pull together the logistics on this since I started this crazy thing. But seriously I do feel Bill deserves a little something for all the good work he did while he was the moderator. Besides the annual salary that comes with the postion($0.00).

Please feel free to email me with any ideas or thoughts funds etc. Let me know.

Any funds sent to me over $1,000,000 will not be given to Bill. You may then contact me in the Cayman Islands.

Posted By: Julie
Wonkaticket@aol.com

I guess we should send $$$, and see what we get, and then decide whether to convert it to card or not.

This was all done with the UTMOST SECRECY for Elliot! And BMW was heavily involved--that was for hockey cards, though.

Posted By: John
Julie and the gang...

Yeah I'm all about doing this thing for Bill. As I said above, email me with any ideas you have for Bill. Hal said he was going to paypal a little something Bill's way I'm assuming that you can send your tokens of appreciation to him directly via his paypal account. That may be the easiest thing to do that way he can get something of his own choice but I'm open to other ideas you may have.

Yes he deserves it, and we should think of showing him how much we appreciate his hard work (if you can) Sorry I haven't been on top of this I was out of town in Chicago all weekend on business.

Wonkaticket@aol.com
