Posted By: Bryan Long
I am off to Las Vegas this Friday with my father for a little father-son bonding time. While there I thought that I would have some time to visit with a few network members if there are any around. If you are in the area and want to meet up for a drink or something just let me know. Or if there are any really good shops within walking distance of the strip let me know that as well. I would rather spend my money on cards than give it to the casinos

Sports "n" More is in the Stratosphere Hotel and Baseball Card Heaven is at the corner of Flamingo and Maryland Parkway (4-5 miles east of the strip). Bally's, Caesars Palace, and Bellagio are at the corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd. to give you an idea of where that is. Dreamcards is at the corner of Sunset and Eastern (approx. 8-10 miles southeast of the strip). Sunset runs along the south side of the airport (parallel to the runways). It's the furthest from the strip but it's where I do the majority of my buying. At these shops, most of the vintage is going to be from the 50's and 60's with almost no pre WWII cards. The phone numbers are

Sports "N" More (702) 385-1119
Baseball Card Heaven (702)765-5557
Dreamcards (702)263-4369

BTW, there is a store called Star's Memorabilia in Mandalay Bay and Gallery of Legends in the Aladdin but their main focus is memorabilia not cards. I hope you and your dad have a good time in Las Vegas!!

They sell their items through auctions and an online store. They're at 7500 W. Lake Mead which is 15-20 miles Northwest of the strip.

Scott
