Posted By: Trae R.
If so please explain what causes it. Can I send it back for a re-label and re-holder (will they charge for it ya think)?

I have another label starting to do the same thing. I picked up from an eBayer who said they also received them that way. I am baffled by it. What you see is an exact scan of how it looks to the naked eye (minus the text I added, obviously).

Thanks for any help!

Who knows...

and lastly, a full scan of the first card (don't ask how it got a 50, I have no clue, heh.)
http://www.sgccardregistry.com/images.asp?cardid=28265&usetid=1147

Posted By: Brian Weisner

Hi Trae,
Where's your sense of humor???? That's what film looks like when it goes through an X-RAY machine....

All kidding aside, I have about 200 SGC cards and none of them look like this. Email Sean at SGC and I'm sure they will take care of the problem. They may have changed paper stock, and not realize what is happening.

Good luck Brian

Posted By: Trae R.
Doh, sorry Brian, I was having a tired moment and din't catch the humor - call me "bland" for that one. Thanks for the suggestion to email them. I will do so with photos of course and hopefully with my next submission I can get them relabeled.

Posted By: Trae R.
Interesting, thank you. Would sound like a safe bet then - so you know if your label starts to blacken you must be keeping your card(s) somewhere you shouldn't be!

Perhaps those edges were EX when they slabbed it.
