Old Baseball cards

Posted By: <b>Jo</b><p>I recently found three Gum Inc baseball cards in my mother's belongings. They are George Selkirk, Merril May and Walter Berger. Nothing is printed on the front and they have white borders. I have found some info on Selkirk but nothing on the others. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Posted By: <b>Paul</b><p>They sound like 1939 Play Ball cards. They were issued by Gum Inc. but are generally referred to as "Play Ball" cards in the hobby. They are generally worth about $10-$20 each if they are in decent shape.
