Posted By: Trae R.
I recently purchased a Hooks Wiltse T206 Common from a seemingly reputable website, and received it with a trimmed bottom. The card cost $36.95 with shipping, and as mentioned above it has a Sweet Cap 460 Factory 42 Overprint back. At worst I like the card, but obviously would never be able to get it slabbed. I have requested atleast a partial refund if I am to keep the card, and a full refund to return the card - I will post the name of the website based on the reply I receive from them. Otherwise I assume it's an honest mistake and would rather not expose the source.

Is it still worth anything? I don't know if overprints are common or not.

Thank you

Posted By: Trae R.
Grrrreat! I'll have to keep it now as it's one of my firsts. I am going to keep all of my firsts. This is my first trimmed/bad purchase, and I have a Bender portrait as my first T206 puchase/HOF'er (Thanks Keith!). I am learning more everyday - I really enjoy it! It wouldn't be the same without this community though. If you could grade online communities this would be pristine by far.
