Which is easier to find...e90-2 or e90-3?

Lew Lipset's encylopedia says e90-3 is tougher.<br /><br />I got completely hooked on e90-3 after I found a orval overall in excellent condition for $15 on vacation in wisconsin three years ago. I didn't even know it was a e90-3 at the time. Duh! Glad I bought it though.

I've only been able to obtain a couple of E90-3s over the years. Posted By: <b>Robert A</b><p>Hmmm. maybe it's just been my experience or where I've been looking, but I've found more e90-3s floating around than e90-2s. <br /><br />It's interesting to note that I've heard from many collectors that chance and gandil are the toughest of the e90-3s and heard the contrary from others, but in the past few years those ARE the two that I can't find!<br /><br />Where are they?

Posted By: <b>quan</b><p>to me they're about the same, although the e90-2s would seem easier because there's only 11 cards vs. the 20 for the e90-3s. i've seen cubs card appear more frequently than white sox. i've seen multiples of chance, gandil, and smith the past couple years. the one tough card is the hahn, don't remember seeing that many hahns at all.

Posted By: <b>Robert A</b><p>Yeah Quan,<br />I agree about the cubbie cards...I think collectors like to get a piece of the last time the cubs actually won it and that's why you see them for sale.<br /><br />I have a couple smiths, but I've only seen one gandil and one chance over the past year on ebay. Maybe I should open my eyes. My hahn is not pretty, but I'm glad I don't have to search for another.

Posted By: <b>jay behrens</b><p>Chance and Gandil are just big demand cards along with Collins. They really aren't that rare, they just don't offered for sale that often. The truely tough cards in the are Hahn (far and away the toughest), Smith and to a lesser degree Archer.<br /><br />Jay<br><br>Wow upside down is Mom. Mom upside down is what dad wants to see.

That was the last card I obtained and I bought the only one I saw in the six years I collected the series. On the other hand, I had 4-5 Millers, several Adams and probably a half dozen other dupes.<br /><br />Andy
