ANY IDEAS?

You can purchase a copy of "THE OLD JUDGE- THE FIRST FOUR YEARS" by Lew Lipset. Available sometimes on Ebay, usually for under $20. The information inside will pay for itself many times over...

Posted By: <b>HW</b><p>From what I can recall, the 239 card Goudey set was issued in 10 sheets of 24 cards with the #144 Ruth being double printed. The sheets were produced throughout the year in series which is why some cards make reference to the 1933 season.<br /><br />One of the sheets is known as the World Series sheet and consisted of members of the Senators and the Giants. It was the last 1933 sheets produced by Goudey and was done shortly after the World Series.
