Posted By: Bill Cornell
Of all the bizarre places cards have gone and wound up back on eBay, this ranks close to the top: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5139898223.

T205s of Cobb, Johnson, Clarke, McGraw, Suggs (a real toughie), Tinker and a bunch of cards not worth salvaging. Perhaps just as weird, the owner consigned this trunk - it can't be worth all that much more than the $99 starting price.

Someone is going to win this "treasure trove"; how they attempt to get the cards out of the locker would be worth hearing.

Bill

If you succeed, you have a Cobb and a Johnson T205. If you fail, you lose 99 bucks...

I wonder if the cards are authenic or Dover reprints...

Posted By: J Levine
I know this trunk. A few cards were removed from it without much damage and sold on ebay a few weeks ago. He was taking offers on the whole trunk (my offer for a couple hundred sight unseen was turned down). The cards are real (at least the t-205s I saw)...should be interesting. Getting the Cobb and Suggs off with minimal damage would more than make up for the current $220 bid.

-Joshua
