Posted By: <b>Ben</b><p>An interesting item - a wood bowling ball with case. I'm guessing there aren't many bowling collectors out there but thought someone here might know when this is from and how much it's worth. I am looking to sell this for a fair price!<br><br><img src="http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg184/IronHorse2130/Baseball%20BST/bowlingball1.jpg" alt="[linked image]"><br><br><img src="http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg184/IronHorse2130/Baseball%20BST/bowlingball.jpg" alt="[linked image]"><br><br><img src="http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg184/IronHorse2130/Baseball%20BST/bowlingball4.jpg" alt="[linked image]"><br><br><img src="http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg184/IronHorse2130/Baseball%20BST/bowlingball2.jpg" alt="[linked image]"><br><br><img src="http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg184/IronHorse2130/Baseball%20BST/bowlingball3.jpg" alt="[linked image]">

Granted it's been a few years ago. I've never seen a case like that and wonder if it wasn't made by the owner. The bowling cases I've seen were more like basketball holders. They were round canvas with two leather handles. This site says that the wood bowling balls were made into the early 1900's but I thought they were made later than that.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>Here's one I found on ebay. They must not be selling as good as they use to.<br><br><a href="http://tinyurl.com/aabehe" target="_new" rel="nofollow">http://tinyurl.com/aabehe</a><br><br><br><br><a href="http://bowlingscience.8m.com/bowling-balls.htm" rel="nofollow"><span class="link">http://bowlingscience.8m.com/bowling-balls.htm&gt;<br><br><br><br><br><br>Clint<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br></span></a>
