Posted By: <b>BlackSoxFan</b><p>Hello boys and girls -<br>I am thinking a frankie frisch single signed ball would be a) difficult and b) expensive (think 5 figures). Is that reasonable? In addition, are there any particular pieces of memorabilia that might be special for a Frisch collector?<br><br>Thanks<br><br>Regards,<br><br>Black Sox Fan<br><br>- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -<br><a href="http://www.blacksoxfan.com" rel="nofollow" target="_new"> target=&quot;new&quot; border=&quot;0&quot;&gt;<img src="http://www.blacksoxfan.com/images/art/sig.jpg&quot;" alt="[linked image]"></a><br><a href="" rel="nofollow" target="_new">shoelessjoe@blacksoxfan.com?subject=Net54&gt;email me</a><br><a href="http://blog.blacksoxfan.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_new">The Black Sox Blog</a>

A pristine sphere doesn't come along very often and may set you back a little more. Like his old teammate Diz, balls signed in the 1970's are usually of the unofficial variety. In his later days, Frankie seemed to favor a felt tip marker to sign singles, which is never a good thing. Thankfully, he was big on hitting the sweet spot towards the end.
