Posted By: <b>Ben</b><p>I recently acquired this from a gentleman who says it was Vince Lombardi's playbook when he was an assistant coach at St. Cecilia, a Catholic high school in Englewood, New Jersey. Are there examples of Lombardi's handwriting I can compare this to? Are there any other ways I can verify that it was Lombardi's? If I could what is something like this worth? Thanks for your help in advance!<br /><br /><img src="http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg184/IronHorse2130/playbook1.jpg"><br /><br /><img src="http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg184/IronHorse2130/playbook2.jpg"><br /><br /><img src="http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg184/IronHorse2130/playbook3.jpg"><br /><br /><img src="http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg184/IronHorse2130/playbook4.jpg">

I don't know if that helps you out any but I figured it's a good starting place.<br /><br /><br />Good luck!<br />Dan

Some of the stuff was in his writing, other stuff was in other handwriting (presumably that of assistant coaches and staff) and some printed material (forms, itinerary, lineups etc). The collection included notes and plays for his very first game (loss) and his AFL championship game win.
