Posted By: Ben
I've had this beautiful 1904 Yale Harvard Football Program for some time now and was hoping someone could provide me with a rough value. It is in very nice shape with only minor wear. It is 100% complete as far as I can tell. One of the pages has come loose from the staples but is present. Filled with tons of great photos from both universities. In period ink "Compliments of Clarence H. King, Yale '07" is written on the front cover.

Not my area of collecting but a really neat piece! Any help is appreciated.

I would try to search past ebay auctions, and previous auction house auctions to come up with a value. My guess would be $100-150 but it is totally a pure guess.

Posted By: Keith
Actually as I posted that, I did a quick search myself, and the identical program is on ebay right now in lesser condition, so I guess that will give you a good idea of the market value.

http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-Nov-19-Yale-Harvard-Football-Program-1904_W0QQitemZ260294406279QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item 260294406279&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A3%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Posted By: davidcycleback
Just of note, Yale was runner up national champs the following 2 years (05, 06) and national champs over Harvard in 1907. These were the days when the Ivy League was the football power, and the annual Harvard Yale game was the equivalent of Army Navy or Miami Florida State in later years. Thought the level has diminished, Harvard Yale is still THE game in the Ivy League. Yale won 12-0 at home in 1904.

Posted By: Ben
I appreciate everyone's feedback. I've looked on eBay before but didn't notice the program up this week. Mine is definitely in better condition. It may be up for sale soon!
