Then I looked up Dimaggio's date of death and I did not realize he died so recently, in 1999. It's possible that a signature from his later years could still be that well preserved. I have some autographed photos that are 20 years old and show no signs of fading. Are there any Dimaggio experts that can provide an opinion?
