The names include a few players such as Al Downing, Tex Clevenger, and Earl Torgeson who barely played for the yankees in 1961 yet doesn't include Johnny Blanchard who hit twenty-one HRs and batted over .300. The printing of the names seems pretty sloppy also. Any chance these were sold blank so fans could write in the names they wanted?<br /><br />I'd guess it dates from mid-July when Downing joined the team to late August when Torgeson was dropped.

Posted By: <b>larry</b><p>hi<br />definitely had the names already in there<br />as for blanchard it looks like it only lists the full time starting 8 all on the left side<br />the pitchers on the right side and the coaches down the middle<br />1st pennant ive ever seen with pitching coach batting coach base coaches<br />also the 1st ive seen with the stick for waving instead of the tassles for hanging
