Posted By: KeithI have for sale a team signed 1945 Jamestown Falcons, a Detroit Tigers affiliate, baseball. The ball is a Wilson Official PONY league (Penn-Ontario-NY) baseball. The ball is in great condition with no shallacking. Some of the more important signatures on the ball include: Jim Levey - manager of the Falcons - an early Jewish baseball player who played for the St Louis Browns in the early 30s and played in the NFL for the Pittsbugh Pirates for 3 years starting in 1934. Lilo Fano - Cuban Baseball Star of the Havana Cubans in 1946-47 Barney Hearn - lead PONY league in hitting with .352 avg and had later influence on the NY Yankees and the pony league. Lyle Parkhurst- a member of the Chautagua County of NY Hall of Fame. Ken Humphrey - Lead the Pony league with 162 hits I am looking for $85 plus shipping for this ball.
