Posted By: Josh A.
I'm checking out this auction on ebay. The price almost seems too low, wanted everyone's opinion. Thanks!

Josh

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5125576265&fromMakeTrack=true

Posted By: Judge Dred
Josh,

Joe Wood was a good pitcher be he isn't a HOF player. He did live to be 95 (Oct. 1889 - Jul 1985). He was kind of a star pitcher and he won 34 games in 1912. Lifetime 116-57 with a 2.03 ERA.

The seller has a 100% FB rating (with over 1250 posts). $35 isn't a bad price for something like this. You can find HOF player checks more inexpensive than this (if you look around).

It seems like a nice piece. If you like it, try to get it.

Posted By: Mark
I hold Joe Wood in high regard based on the young player in Field of Dreams exclaiming upon his arrival to the enchanted Iowa baseball field, "Wow, there's Smokey Joe Wood!"
