Posted By: Gary B.
I've been somewhat of a frustrated (realtive) newbie, overwhelmed by the amazingly impressive collections of Net54 members, but finally I got what I consider to be a GREAT DEAL on ebay for just over $10 a card, when the vg common price for this issue is $12 each, and 3 of these are HOFers including Hack Wilson, with one of the others being the not too shabby Lefty O'Doul. I know this auction says 7 cards, but it's actually 8 - I called Will Hays before purchasing to verify:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5125275477&ssPageName=STRK:MEBI:IT

I know by Net54 standards this might not be much of a big deal and none of these cards are pristine, but for me it's a huge deal since I'm near the beginning of my collection and I don't have lots of money to spend on high dollar items.

Just wanted to share my happiness at a great purchase - for a change!

Posted By: Gary B.
a big thanks to Net54, as I did a search on Will Hays (sandiegowill) previously on Net54, and hearing lots of people say he was a reputable solid dealer made me be able to bid with confidence. This site is the best.

Posted By: Jason
You know there really is nothing like a nice warm feeling when you buy something that you really like. Its what makes the hobby fun. Sometimes I get a feeling of dread like I shouldn't have paid as much or I'm not as happy with a card as I had hoped.

Lately the buys have had that warm feeling. Just wish I had more spare cash.

Posted By: leon
'Tis better to overpay than not to have.....much easier to cope with having a card that you paid too much for than a card that got away, imo......nice pick up on the "w"'s too. As I stated in a recent auction I think they are an inexpensive way to pick up nice, period, cards at modest prices...enjoy them...they are nice looking. regards
