Posted By: Patrick McMenemy
Maybe Tom or Julie can answer this question for me since you both know a great deal regarding this issue. I know that E254s sometimes have a "curved" name and team designation and sometimes they have straight labels. In addition, some E254s have the labels in white and others have the label in black. Below are my three(3) Colgans. Note that the Street has the last letter only in white and the rest in black. Is this unusual?

Posted By: Julie Vognar
but I might just not have noticed it. Are there really Colgans with straighht letters (I only have three left)? I know the Wagner is LISTED as having a straight letter version in the E254 set, and I also know it doesn't exist (see Larry Fritsch, "Colgans, Colgans, Colgans" VCBC). Likewise, the Cobb is listed as having a "name on Uniform" version in the E254, which also doesn't exist(it's either a Tin Top or a Red Border, I forget which). In fact, about ten HOFers in the E254 set--are really only in the E270 Tin Top--someone forgot to look at the back when he was cataloguing. Anyway, if you've been wiating a long time for particulat HOFers in E254, your wait may be endless!
