Posted By: Max
Not sure if this should be in the B/S/T thread and the "Mastro--Anyone win?" thread seems to belong to an entirely financial demographic, but I imagine others have similar queries on other lots.

In case any thread member bought the large collection of books, please let me know if you're interested in selling off or trading Claudy's Battle of Baseball.

Thanks,

Max

Posted By: Hal Lewis
I guess I could lie and say that I won the Ty Cobb book and am "breaking up the lot" by selling each page separately ...

but alas, I was outbid on that book AND the 1890 Boston Baseball Club book.

Posted By: Dan
I thought that I would. Am considering breaking up a few of the lots, but not sure at this time. 5 or 6 of them seem perfect for keeping together and selling down the road. We will see. The others, I am going to break out within the next month, once they get here.

Posted By: TBob
I am expecting someone to make a fortune breaking this up and putting it on ebay, card by card. Sure would like a crack at that E94 gold Cobb. It will be interesting to see if this set were bought for profit and speculation or by a collector trying to complete some sets since so many of the sets in the lot were "near-sets."
