Posted By: Jeff Kennedy
I still have a 1912 T207 of "Buck" Weaver for sale if anyone is interested. It has been graded SGC 40 VG, but the card looks to be EX-EXMT. The only flaw being a very small "wrinkle" on the front of the card. The "wrinkle" is only noticable on the card front due to T207's glossy/lacquer finish. I am asking $1,000.00 but if you have any circa 1906-10 Chicago Cubs stuff, then a trade is possible.

Jeff
Email AKABarneyFife@aol.com

Posted By: Julie Vognar
Forget the case when you are trading etc. with someone you know well.

Say you've just met someone, and one of you suggests a trade after a little conversation, or a trade and cash for something. A deal is struck.

Who sends first, the person who did the suggesting? Or the person with the cash? Or does it matter? This is someone you don't know well, and haven't done business (etc.) with
before. I don't mean you have any reason to distrust him--i just mean, is there an etiquette about such things?

Obviously--I think--if you advertise something for sale or bidding, the other guy pays before you send the goods. And, like I said, if you know eachother well, it doesn't really make any difference. And also, on agreed ocasions, even when you're straight out buying, the two of you may have struck a deal in which he sends you the item on spec, and then you pay. But I'm talking about run-of-the-mill deals with people you didn't know before. Is there a way to do things and a way not to?
