Posted By: <b>jay behrens</b><p>This was just posted to the SABR news list by the Baseball HOF<BR><BR>The Hall of Fame will celebrate the first-ever National Trading Card Day<BR>this Saturday, April 3, with a full day of activities.<BR><BR>Here is the list of events for National Trading Card Day, with all programs<BR>slated to take place in the Hall of Fame Library's Bullpen Theater:<BR><BR><BR>10:30 am:<BR>Sandlot Stories: A Q-and-A with a Baseball Card Dealer<BR>The Hall of Fame's Dan Rothstein interviews Cooperstown sports card merchant<BR>Bob Tricomi about the baseball card industry, including the newest trends<BR>and developments.<BR><BR><BR>12:30 pm:<BR>Rookie Workshop: How To Collect and Preserve Your Baseball Cards<BR>The Hall's Bruce Markusen offers tips on how to organize and maintain<BR>baseball card collections.<BR><BR><BR>2:30 pm:<BR>Sandlot Stories: Three Decades of Collecting Baseball Cards<BR>Come on by and look at some of the most intriguing cards of the last 30<BR>years, including images of Hank Aaron, Barry Bonds, and Willie Mays.<BR><BR><BR>Admission to all of these programs is free for Museum visitors.
