Posted By: runscott
He has a series of auctions for "Feldmans" that he apparently tried to slip by SGC and they were caught (clap, clap, clap). He even describes them as "replicas", a not-so-commonly used term that the grand master replicator, Garth Feldman, also uses (that way you can reject 'reprint' in your searches and still wind up looking at this sh*t).

BTW, Feldman pulled a really good joke on me - he claimed that all the '33 "replicas" he was selling were actually from an early '60s reprint set that was described in a recent issue of "Becketts". We developed a bit of a rapport and he ended up sending me one of these "reprints"...problem is, it wasn't a reprint. Feldman was apparently hoping I would flip out at how real this fake card looked and post accordingly, garnering him the respect he deserves. Well, I was stunned when I saw the card (damn it looked real!). I mailed it to David Rudd, who happened to have only one '33 Goudey, which oddly enough was the same exact card! David confirmed that it was real and I sold it on ebay for $13!

Thanks Garth!
