Posted By: Mike Williams
while I can't name an airport for you to fly in to (Harrisburg Intl. is approx. 1 1/2 hours away)...Pittsburgh is not the best option here!

Posted By: mike peich
Folks--As a resident of the Philadelphia area for the past thirty years, it's the Philadelphia Int'l. Airport that serves Ft. Washington. For those on the board attending, shall we get together at the Show? Tim and I will be there, and we would enjoy seeing others, particularly Bill Cornell, Leon, Scott Brockelman, and JC. Come on JC, get a week-end pass!

Cheers, Mike

Posted By: Bob Lemke
I'll be in attendance at Ft. Washington all weekend. SCD/SCD Authentic has a booth where I'll be headquartered. I'd welcome the opportunity to meet any forum members. This will be the last call to get any new listings, photos, price changes, etc., into the new edition Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, but stop by even if you have nothing new to add.

Posted By: Kevin Cummings
Just got back from the Fort Washington show and while it was unrewarding (personally) in terms of purchases, it was worth the trip just to chat for an hour with the board members. It's always fun to finally associate the face and the voice of the people we know only by their board or ebay "handles."

Posted By: Mike Williams
It was fun to meet and chat a while. The show was very well attended but there wasn't much cardboard to be had IMO. Shoeless Joe had a great selection of "E" cards, I just couldn't touch 'em (VERY few "E" cards otherwise). Terry Knouse Sr. (Tik & Tik) had his usual assortment of jaw droppers...great guy as well.

The one thing I did notice was an unusally high number of ungraded...mid-grade T206 HOF's (Matty's, Youngs, Cobb's everywhere!). It also seemed like everyone was talking eBay...I must have heard it no less than a dozen times walking the aisles.

PSA, GAI, Beckett and SGC were all there...Beckett had the most traffic by far (a younger crowd mostly).

Enough rambling...take care,

Mike
