Posted By: TBob
did you talk the owner in to cancelling the auction and selling you the card because it appears that John Billingsley had his bid cancelled by the seller who gave as his reason for cancellation that "owner decided not sell the card." I guess the owner changed his mind?

Posted By: warshawlaw
"Tobacco Cards". It is under the general heading "collectibles" and the subheading "tobacciana". A good area to cruise through regularly--many ignorant listers don't realize that baseball has its own segment on ebay, so they stick baseball cards here too. This info may help you find the listings, but you'll still have to beat Leon's knack for closing.

BTW: Nice pick-up, Leon. I finally added a Hess to my collection, too (cost me a song and a dance and an arm too) so I'm a disinterested bystander in future sales.
