Posted By: jay behrens
Cool photo. Now you just need to get a beanie style ballcap to better complete the picture. I've wanted to find one for years, but I am not aware of anyone making them. I talked to a rep from Mitchell & Ness one time and they said there just isn't a big enough market for them. But that was over 10 years ago, maybe the market has changed.

Jay

Posted By: runscott
I added the coupon and turned it into a business card.

Jay - I bought the cap thru a vintage cap reproducer - Cooperstown BallCap Co. - it IS authentic to the era, complete with short bill, etc.

Posted By: John(z28jd)
Its strange seeing these people that ive talked to for so long.I was there for the national and got to meet most of them from the picture except Elliot who was lucky enough to avoid me and Bill Cornell.
Let me say the only shock from that picture is Mr Cornell who i thought was in his 50s or so.I wouldve guessed forever and a day if someone asked me to try and name who he was in a pic.
A good example of how i pictured people is my good friend Jay Miller, who i always pictured looking like Jay Miller the old fighter from the Bruins.Theyre both from the new england area so i just associated them.
Just to take it a little further, theres a person who collects vintage cards who i didnt like right off the bat because their name reminded me of someone i know and dislike in person.Strange thinking on my part

Posted By: leon
Scott and I are homey's and he is still around and actively seeking/selling cards, as far as I know. I have spoken to him in the last 2-3 days and he is fine and planning on the National again....for about his 10th time. I am also planning on renting part of his table again and everyone is welcome to come to his/our table for relaxation and card talk..A lot of times he is busy and does not post on the board but I do know he frequents it .....he just doesn't gossip as much as me though ...regards all
